As IF this is work! It is Jen’s pleasure to have founded Little Rebels Music and Development Classes and feels it marries both her love of musical theatre and teaching children. Jen had been teaching children all around the world for 20 years while embarking on a flourishing theatrical career at the same time. She is also the founder of HERstory Counts Theatre Company. Building Little Rebels alongside her incredible team is a dream come true!

Sam is thrilled to be starting this exciting new chapter after working as a teacher and regional leader within the Little Rebels family for the past 4 years! Sam studied musical theatre at Randolph College, and culture & digital technologies at the University of Guelph. She can’t wait to combine her passions for music and movement with her desire to help connect families to our enriching community! Sam has travelled all over the country (and world) as a multidisciplinary artist, but no matter where she has wandered, Little Rebels has always felt like home!

Celia is so excited to be a part of the Little Rebels Team! With almost a decade of experience in customer service and a background in Media Design at Algonquin College, Celia’s attention to detail and adapting to client needs is one of her specialities. She’s a people person through and though and loves building strong and lasting relationships with all of our Little Rebels families, and team members. Celia is thrilled to contribute her skills and be a valuable member of this rebellious team of rockstars!
Music Arranger
Maricris is a Filipina-Canadian musician based in Toronto. She is a vocalist who plays piano, ukulele, guitar, and various percussion. She plays with her band Understudy, playing a variety of different genres from pop, funk, indie and folk. She was also a live musician for Fresh Dance Intensive, accompanying contemporary, improvisation and floorwork dance classes across Canada. She occasionally works as an accompanist for audition coaching. It brings her such joy to get to introduce rock and roll, Motown, and musical theatre classics to your little rebels!
Composer
Louisa has been singing since she could talk and dancing since she could walk. She is a graduate of the Randolph Academy and has performed all over Canada. She has been teaching children's musical theatre and dance for over ten years and is absolutely thrilled to be joining this amazing team of educators! She is a long-time cast member of The Oh Canada Eh! Dinner Show and also works as a writer, choreographer and Jazz singer. She can't wait to sing and dance with you all!
Alexa is over the moon to join the Little Rebels team! She graduated from Randolph College and Yorkville University and brings almost a decade of experience with children. Alexa has performed in bands, plays, and musicals since she was eleven years old, and continues to write and perform her original music in Toronto and beyond. She is eager to bring music, joy and laughter to you and your little rebels! :)
Teacher - Toronto
Hailey is thrilled to be joining the Little Rebels team! She holds her Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance degree from Sheridan College and is a proud musical theatre super nerd. Her passion for teaching has grown exponentially since graduating from university, having had the pleasure of seeing first-hand the positive impact that the arts can have on young minds. She has spent close to decade leading kids of all ages through their discovery of a love of art and music at Appleby College Camps and as a full-time faculty member at Spotlight Academy. As an overgrown child herself, Hailey can’t wait to move, shake, sing, and play with all your Little Rebels!

Kessem is thrilled to join the Little Rebels team! She is a graduate of Randolf College for the Performing Arts and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Music in Community Music at Wilfrid Laurier University. Kessem has lots of experience working with kids. She has babysat, been a camp drama and music specialist and a birthday party princess. Kessem can’t wait to sing, play, and dance with your Little Rebels!
Michelle is an award-winning vocalist and performer based in Ottawa, Canada. After performing for the first time in her grade 2 talent show, she knew singing and music were her passions. Since then, she has trained in many vocal styles, including pop, musical theatre, and classical, and holds a Bachelor of Music from Carleton University with a focus in Vocal Performance.
When she is not teaching, she is busy running her other business Breakfast In Bed, an acoustic duo specializing in weddings and private events with her husband Massil, and performing at the award winning dinner musical Oh Canada Eh?!
Teacher - Mississauga/Oakville
Katrina Gibson has been teaching children and youth classes for the past 17 years! Katrina attended St. Clair college for Musical Theatre and has taught acting, musical theatre, and voice lessons to students of all ages as well as directing well over 70 production for under 18s. Katrina is the director for the Acting for Film program at Innovative Arts, runs children’s programs at the Halton Hills Library and performs as Superhero’s and Princesses at Children’s birthday parties.

A graduate in theatre from York University, Carly Hall has, over the last ten years, worked as an actor, singer, director, choreographer, and stage manager at several well established theatre companies and as script editor and director for after-school musical theatre productions. An experienced performer for young children, Carly is also the proud mother of two beautiful little boys. She is extremely excited to join the amazing Little Rebels family!

Rachel is a graduate of the McGill Opera Program, as well as an accomplished violinist who has spent the last 15 years teaching privately and coaching students of all ages. Now a new(ish) mom, she felt her life was heading into a new direction. When she heard about the amazing program at Little Rebels, she knew it was meant to be. Rachel is thrilled to be part of such an amazing and talented group of women, and to get to play with awesome kids all day!
Teacher - Regional Facilitator - Burlington/Hamilton/Oakville
Sam is a Hamilton-based multidisciplinary artist, who has enjoyed a life bursting with music and the arts ever since she was a 'Little Rebel' herself. Alongside her artistic career, she has been teaching dance, music, and movement to children of all ages for almost 20 years! She is so proud to be a part of the Little Rebels team, and can't wait to sing, dance, and watch as your little ones grow!
Teacher - Toronto/Southeast Etobicoke
Growing up, Natalie was immersed in music and theatre and knows first hand how music can shape a child's growth! She is a graduate of Randolph College for the Performing Arts & the Canadian College for the Performing Arts. Natalie has taught voice and musical theatre privately and in schools for almost ten years now. She has also worked as a nanny for years, and has a deep love for little humans. For her, Little Rebels is the perfect marriage between her infant experience and teaching experience! She is so excited to be able to share her passion with all the little rebels.
Teacher - Hamilton/Burlington
Amber first experienced the joy of Little Rebels as a mom and is thrilled to join the team. She has her diploma in Music Theatre from St. Lawrence College and is a certified Early Childhood Educator. Over the past ten years she has assisted many families with their child care needs and also worked as a parent coach. Amber is thrilled to mesh her two passions, Musical Theatre and Childhood Development, with Little Rebels.
Teacher - Toronto
Amanda is an arts educator, private music teacher, and performer in the greater Toronto area. She holds a BFA in musical theatre from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee college of Music. Recently Amanda obtained a certificate in early childhood music education from The Royal Conservatory of Music in conjunction with Toronto Metropolitan University. She is thrilled to be a part of the Little Rebels team.
Teacher - Newmarket/Aurora
Hailing from Newmarket, Brittany Miranda is an actor-singer and graduate of the joint theatre program at the University of Toronto and Sheridan College. Known for her big voice, chipper personality, and crazy curly hair, Brittany has performed on stages across Canada. She is particularly proud of her work with youth in musical theatre as a teacher, performer, and director. Brittany is thrilled to be joining the Little Rebels team and can’t wait to sing and shake with her Newmarket/Aurora rebels!
Teacher - Ottawa
Joy is a musical theatre performer, director and voice teacher and is very excited to be joining the team at Little Rebels. With a B.Mus Honours degree and a specialization in Musical Theatre Voice from Carleton University, Joy brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role. She has over 15 years of experience in babysitting and teaching children and gained valuable experience as an apprentice with MASC (Multicultural Arts for Schools and Communities). Joy has also created and taught engaging musical theatre courses for both children and adults. With a deep understanding of the importance of music and its impact on child development, Joy is dedicated to nurturing young minds through creative expression. Her commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment aligns perfectly with the values of Little Rebels. She is thrilled to be part of the Little Rebels family and can't wait to create joyful music and memories with everyone!

Dani is overjoyed to be back on the Little Rebel team! Toronto based performer, writer, educator and puppeteer- Dani loves spreading healing and play to audiences of all ages! No matter the age or stage, she is always curious about creating safe and loving environments of growth. For the past decade Dani has worked as a teaching artist with various companies including Electric Moon Theatre Company, Suitcase Theatre, Dramaway, Camp Supernow, and Little Rebels! In addition to teaching and performing, she has also had the great pleasure of working as a writer of kids content with wonderful companies such as Skyship Entertainment and Supernow. She is so excited to be back on the Little Rebels team and to be here to support the growth and development of your littles!
